Sunday School

Ages 3 years  - 4th Grade

Sunday School is available for ages 3 through 4th grade during L.I.F.E. Hour on Sunday at 9:30 a.m.  Varied activities help teach the morning's lesson in a way that is appropriate for each age group.  Children meet in Lamb of God Elementary School's Multi-purpose Room for Opening. 

Opening consists of songs with the Praise Team, a summary of the lesson for the day, and a puppet show every fifth week provided by our Puppet Ministry, along with offerings to our Lord.

We have geared up to work with our students in a entirely new way.  We are not only connecting our children to Jesus, but we are also helping them to prepare for Confirmation Instruction.  Each age level will have memory work to be memorized throughout the school year.  Pre-Kindergarten learns the Lord's Prayer.  Kindergarten memorizes the 10 commandments.  1st and 2nd graders learn the Books of the Bible, and 3rd and 4th grade will learn the Apostle's and Nicene Creeds.

When these students reach Pre-Teen (5th and 6th grades), they wil already have the basics memorized so that they can focus on more of what Luther's Small Catechism has to offer.

Sunday School students will be working on earning perfect attendance awards.  They will also be singing in the Worship Services every two months.
