Our Sunday School is held from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., in what we call the L.I.F.E. Hour (Learning Is For Everyone). Worship Services are held on Saturdays at 5:00 p.m. and Sundays at 8:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. (Also see "Church – Service Times and Worship Styles" for further information.)
A nursery worker provides care for your little ones during all Worship Services so that you are free to participate.
There are a number of programs for young people, including Cradle Roll, Sunday School, Jr. and Sr. High Youth groups, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Vacation Bible School. The ages for these programs range from newborns through high school.
There are a number of handicap parking spaces near both church and school buildings. The doorways are wide, and there are handicapped stalls in the restrooms. There are also reserved spaces in the Sanctuary for your convenience.
Applicants should consult with the Pastor:
Applicants from Lutheran Churches should submit a letter of transfer from their former congregations to establish their eligibility for membership.
A Talents/Skills and Activities Survey which you can fill out will help you determine where you might like to serve. There are many options for you to consider.
The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is offered in all Worship Services on the first, third, and fifth weekends of each month. If you are a guest, you are also welcome at the Lord's Table. Three things are required of you before you commune with us. First, you must be a baptized Christian; second, be truly repentant for your sins, believing that Jesus is your personal Savior and, third, believe that Christ's body and blood are truly present in the bread and wine for the forgiveness of sins and the strengthening of your faith. Children must have completed "confirmation" or have received "early communion instruction" before receiving communion. Anyone not receiving communion is welcome to come forward for a blessing. Alcohol-free white wine is available in the center of each tray.
All baptisms occur on the second and the fourth Sundays of the month. You do not need to be a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church to be baptized; however, you need to contact the Church Office to speak with the Pastor prior to a baptism. (Also see pages on "Baptism" and "What We Believe".)
If you are a member in good standing of a Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, you may contact the Pastor for approval to schedule the church for a wedding.
Due to the heavy schedule of church and school programs, our facilities are no longer available for rent. Our Properties Board has made accommodations for community needs such as Blood Drives, CPR training, Community Food Pantry, and a number of Scout Troops meet in our buildings.
