
Pastor Augie is a heart-connected man who deeply loves his Savior Jesus.He ministers to God’s people with an attitude of respect, dignity, honor and compassion.He leads with a positive spiritual presence.His ministry experience has ranged from rural to inner-city churches; teaching in Lutheran high schools and on the board of a national youth group; large multi-staff setting and mission outposts to institutional work and mentoring new pastors.
He is certified by the Pacific Southwest District of the LCMS as an intentional interim pastor.
In that position, Pastor Augie has helped congregations move from the past and leads churches to resolve the issues that have hampered their spiritual energy and prepare for a new resident pastor.
He recently completed a vacancy at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in, Holtville, Calif.Augie holds Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Master of Divinity degrees and has served the church for more than 30 years.He is the author and publisher of the book “Agape (The Forgotten Teaching of Jesus).”The book is a summary of his lifelong search for the true meaning and relevance of God’s divine love in the Christian heart in order to bring rejuvenation in the Christian church.
Now calling Tucson, AZ home, he shares life with his wife, Victoria, who both enjoy the company of Molly, the wonder dog.They have five grown children and together they enjoy travel, the arts and theater.
