The Community Easter Egg Hunt is always a big event, drawing in neighbors and friends along with children from our church. Last year some 6,000 eggs were found, and great fun was had by all...even the Easter Bunny and Mrs Bunny made special appearances! This event opens in the Church Sanctuary with the Good News of Easter and Celebration of Jesus Christ.

Along with the Harvest Festival sponsored by our school, Halloween candy was handed out from the trunks of specially decorated vehicles in our Church parking lot, as several hundred people from our church and community enjoyed the evening. Prizes were awarded for the best costumes and the best decorated vehicles. What a great way to insure the safety of your children while having all the fun!

"The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" was the theme of our August, 2009 VBS, and it was a huge success! Our thanks and gratitude go out to the many volunteers who made this session such a wonderful learning experience and so much fun for some 170 children and over 50 volunteers each day. Watch for news of the coming 2010 VBS!
Following the Thanksgiving Eve worship service, wonderful homemade pies are enjoyed as each family brings its favorite pie to share with fellow worshipers.
