Lamb of God Lutheran Church and School Las Vegas, Nevada

There are several different areas of Youth Ministry that Lamb of God Lutheran Church caters to. Ranging from Youth Group for Jr./Sr. High School to Pioneer Club to Sunday School classes for kids of every age. Lamb of God has what you are looking for when it comes to your child's spiritual growth.

The goal of the Youth Ministries here at Lamb of God is focused on equipping Youth to develop a personal ministry that strengthens their relationship with Jesus Christ and encourages them to live their Faith.

The Objectives of Lamb of God Youth Ministries:

For Youth to become active in the Worship Life of the Congregation by having a prayer filled life and serving in worship services.
To have devotions and bible studies that will teach the Youth Community how to love and honor God with their lives.
To equip and encourage families to live a life that shares the love of God through service to God and a joyful spirit.
For Youth and Adults to live out their personal faith by developing relationships to share God's love.
To teach Youth and Families to grow in their connection to one another by sharing in fun activities that build up the Body of Christ.

Sunday School
Sunday School is avilable for ages 3 thru 12th grade. Children gather in the school's Multipurpose Room at 9:30AM each Sunday for music and a brief lesson. After the opening session, students follow their teacher to individual classrooms. Varied activities help teach the morning's lesson in a way that is appropriate for each age group.

Pioneer Club
This exciting children's ministry for ages 4 thru grade 6 meets every Monday from 4:00-6:00PM from September through May. Pioneer Club is a program that includes age appropriate Bible studies, Bible memory verses, mission opportunities, games, crafts, singing and more. Children are taught to put Christ in every aspect of lives in a fun way. Camp Cherith, the camping ministry of Pioneer Club is open to all youth from grades 2 thru 12 throughout the summer in Southern California. You do not have to be a club member to attend.

Confirmation
Classes in Lutheran Doctrine and basic Christianity meet every Monday from 4:00-6:00PM from September through May. This traditional two-year program culminates at a confirmation of faith service. Confirmation is for grades 5 through 6.

Scouts
We have a very active scout program meeting every Thursday evening from 6:30-8:00PM. The Girl Scout program includes Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes and Seniors. For boys we have Cub Scouts (1st thru 5th grade) and Boy Scouts (6th grade thru high school). For more information contact Bonnie Karch at 258-8642.
